BACKGROUND

The collaboration between EMZI Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and UiTM was established in the year of 2020, under EMZI-UiTM Nanoparticle Colloids & Interface Industrial Research Laboratory (NANO-CORE) under School of Chemical Engineering, College of Engineering, UiTM Cawangan Pulau Pinang. The head office was pinpointed at No. 5 & No. 6, Tingkat 1, Jalan Bank, 08000 Sungai Petani, Kedah Darul Iman. EMZI Holdings Sdn. Bhd. is more focused and specialized in products that are related to healthcare products, event management services and general trading. The product is marketed primarily through single-level or online marketing methods using a network of subsidiaries. EMZI excels in creatively and innovatively producing products that relying on ongoing research to ensure they meet state standards and gain community acceptance. 

This company is highly active in community contributions and is considering industrial collaboration with UiTM Cawangan Pulau Pinang, Permatang Pauh campus. This project was conducted in applying the concept of smart and precise agriculture method inside the campus and to see its impact to the local community. This project also in collaboration with the Federal Agriculture Marketing Authority (FAMA) Seberang Perai Tengah Office, on the process of commercializing the crops produced later this project.
