Best for you if:
You are sponsored by a fire department or workforce partner
You can commit to a fast-paced, full-time schedule
You want to complete EMT certification as quickly as possible and continue into Fire Academy or Paramedic training
Important to know:
This is the most intensive EMT option and requires full face-to-face participation. Outside work or coursework may be difficult to manage.
Best for you if:
You need to work during the day and attend classes in the evening
You are not sponsored and require a more flexible timeline
You can commit to a longer schedule to meet certification requirements
Important to know:
Classes typically begin around 5:30 PM. While this option supports employment, the program remains rigorous and time management is essential.
Best for you if:
You are a student at a partnered high school
You are eligible for dual credit enrollment
You want to begin EMT training while completing high school
Important to know:
This schedule aligns with the high school academic calendar and is available only through approved dual credit partnerships.
If you’re unsure which schedule fits your goals or availability, the EMS Department can help you evaluate your options.
Contact the EMS Department for personalized guidance, or if you are a sponsored or dual credit student, you may also consult your employer, workforce partner, or high school dual credit office.
