Location

EMPSEB30 will take place at the OREA Devět Skal hotel, which is in the protected area of the Žďár Hills on the banks of the Milovský Pond. The location lends itself very well to appreciating the local biodiversity, which we plan to encourage by organising short excursions into the surrounding forests. 

Milovy is a great starting point for trips throughout the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands (Českomoravská vrchovina) to places such as Devět skal, Malinská skala, etc. For those so inclined, the resort is also well-equipped, so it is perfect for resting by the swimming pool or the pond, or using the sports ground with minigolf, volleyball, etc.

And of course, extend your stay to explore the rest of Czechia. Slightly farther away, there are a diverse collection of sights to see: these include geologically interesting landscapes such as the Moravian Karst, the nature region Bohemian Switzerland, and of course major cities like Prague and Brno.
