Report on the economy of Cantabria: How our product can help in the context of our region
CURRENT SITUATION
Cantabria is an autonomous community in Spain. It is the sixteenth region in Spain according to its population - it has 582.388 inhabitants, of which the 51.5 percent are women and the other 48.5 percent men. Tourism is a vital sector in today's economy, but a real balance between tourism and other activities needs to reached. As mentioned above, Cantabria could invest in its own industries, such as ranching industry or agriculture, which are losing importance against the service sector, hence the industrial activity should be promoted by providing financial support to the people from the primary and secondary sector. In addition to that, the best way to lure big enterprises into settling their subsidiaries here is to invest public money in their projects.

If all these measures to ensure the right balance between the three economic sectors were taken, we would be attracting big companies that could decrease the rate of unemployment and that's where we and our product join the equation.
