Research majors and careers that interest you
Research colleges and narrow down top picks
Fill out FAFSA
Take a standardized test, like the SAT or ACT
Figure out your college payment plan (and perhaps apply for scholarships!)
Begin the college application process at your selected college’s websites
Begin writing your admissions essay
Have a number of trusted individuals read your essay
Create a list of all activities, hobbies, etc. to be included in your application (a resume)
Secure one or multiple letters of recommendation
