Empowering Women’s Causes was formed in 2021 as a non-partisan, civic-minded group to address issues of affordable housing, climate change, criminal justice reform (including gun control), education, and healthcare (including reproductive rights) in our community.

These causes are central to women's lives, and we need more women voting and running for public office to make change. We are a 501c4 social welfare organization to advocate for better public policies.

One of our first goals is to make sure no candidate for public office runs unopposed in any race in our area. We need viable options at the ballot box; no one should become an elected official simply because they face no opposition.
