The Empowering Women's Causes Annual Meeting with a Potluck and card planning workshop is scheduled for Monday, June 8th at 5:30 In the auditorium of the Downtown Library
Bring a dish to share. Drinks and paper products will be provided. Working groups will discuss future programs and write postcards for our EWC member Candice Duvieilh in the June 16 run off for CD5.

EWC had a group of inspiring environmental speakers at our Community Environmental Awareness event at the Madison County Nature Trail on April 5. Thanks to our board member Carole Albyn for her inspiration and planning for this event and to our speakers: Libby Potter (Citizen Environmentalist), Aaron Stiles (Foraging Ahead—Zeroscaping/Xeriscaping Landscaping), Moriah Fordman (Phoenix Glass Recycling), Abigail Harrison (Land Trust of North AL), Ankur Shah (Huntsville Environmental Coalition), and Grissom Junior Laurel Howard (Poet/Essayist).
