The Empowering Women of Colour in AI-Driven Mental Health Research Workshop will be held as part of the IJCAI-25 Diversity and Inclusion Program. This event aims to highlight and support women—especially those from diverse racial, sexual, and gender identities—who are leading groundbreaking research at the intersection of artificial intelligence and mental health. The workshop will feature keynote talks, lightning presentations, a panel discussion, a poster session, and collaborative activities designed to foster inclusion, innovation, and global partnerships in AI for mental health.
We invite submissions of research papers focused on machine learning and deep learning approaches for detecting mental health conditions, with a particular emphasis on anxiety disorders. Submissions can include either two-page abstracts (for early-stage research, to be presented in a poster session) or four-page papers (based on recent published work, eligible for lightning talks and publication in the CEUR Workshop Proceedings).
The workshop will take place between August 18, 2025.
