The purpose of the Medical Student Senate (MSS) of the Emory University School of Medicine is to function as a body to represent student interests, establish monetary policy, and promote channels of communication amongst students, faculty, and administration.

- Hosts School of Medicine (SOM)-wide events
- Works with SOM and University administration to resolve medical student concerns
- Distributes funds for SOM student organizations to operate
- Meetings occur on a monthly basis and are open to everyone in the SOM student body.

- The General Assembly is made up of 4 senators from each class, the president and vice president of each class, and the GSGA, Allied Health Council, and University Senate representatives.
