Q: How do I copy an emoji?
Click the EmojiDrop icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the picker. Then simply click any emoji — it's instantly copied to your clipboard. Paste it anywhere with Ctrl+V (Windows) or Cmd+V (Mac).
Q: Why isn't the emoji copying?
Make sure Chrome has clipboard access enabled. If the issue persists, try reloading the page you're pasting into, or restart Chrome and try again.
Q: Where are my recent emojis stored?
Your recently used emojis are saved locally on your device only. They are never uploaded or shared anywhere. You can clear them by removing and reinstalling the extension.
Q: Does this extension work offline?
Yes. EmojiDrop works fully offline. It makes no internet connections and requires no account or login.
Q: How do I search for an emoji?
Click the extension icon and type a keyword into the search bar at the top — for example "heart", "laugh", or "fire". Results filter instantly as you type.
Q: The extension icon isn't showing in my toolbar. What do I do?
Click the puzzle piece icon (🧩) in the top-right corner of Chrome, find EmojiDrop in the list, and click the pin icon to pin it to your toolbar.
Q: How do I remove the extension?
Right-click the EmojiDrop icon in your toolbar and select "Remove from Chrome", or go to chrome://extensions, find EmojiDrop, and click "Remove".
