Throughout my education and career, I have been fortunate to be taught and mentored by thoughtful and passionate people. I am dedicated to paying forward the same mentoring to younger and budding scientists, and inspire them to pursue a career they love.
I have supervised many junior scientists, from undergraduate to junior postdocs, leading to their first author publications (including PRD Editor's Suggestions). If you are looking for an educational, timely and impactful project, feel free to contact me!
I am part of the Berkeley Compass project, which provides one-on-one mentoring for undergraduate students at UC Berkeley in the physical sciences, especially first year students from underrepresented populations and with specific needs. I am also a mentor for Científico Latino, which helps students from underrepresented backgrounds navigate the STEM graduate school application process.
