Since November 2025 I have been working as a post-doctoral researcher in the Institute of Analysis and Numerics (IAM) from the Otto von Guericke University of Magdeburg. I am working with Thomas Richter on numerical schemes for geophysical equations.
From September 2022 to September 2025, I was a PhD student in the CSM team (scientific computing and modeling) in the Institut de Mathématiques de Bordeaux laboratory and in the Inria research center CARMEN team, under the supervision of Yves Coudière and Lisl Weynans. I worked on the inverse problem of cardiac electrophysiology, also called ECGi. This problem consists in recovering information on the electrical activity of the heart from partial measurements of electrical potentials on the body surface of a patient. During my PhD, I elaborated an alternative forward model to be used as a constraint in the ECGi inverse problem (see Lagracie, Bourgault, Coudière & Weynans 2025 or Lagracie, Weynans & Coudière 2025). I also studied the possibility of using particle filtering for recovering non-deterministic solutions of ECGi (see Lagracie & de Montella 2025 ). Here is a Link to my thesis and to my defense presentation slides (in french).
From August 2023 to December 2023, I was a research visitor at the University of Ottawa, Canada. I worked in collaboration with Yves Bourgault.
From February 2021 to August 2021, I was a research intern in the Laboratoire de l'Atmosphère et des Cyclones (LACy) under the supervision of Olivier Delage. I worked on weather data filtering through the analysis of Guinean temperature and rainfall rate data. These were put in perspective with climate indices to obtain a climate classification of the Guinean regions. I also contributed to the elaboration of an autonomous spectral algorithm for data processing called Empirical Adaptative Wavelet Decomposition (see Delage, Portafaix, Bencherif, Bourdier & Lagracie 2022).
From September 2020 to February 2021, I worked on Space Situational Awareness (SSA) as a R&D intern at Aldoria, under the supervision of Alexis Petit.

I am particularly interested in the study of PDE based inverse problems appearing in diverse application fields such as cardiac electrophysiology or geophysical sciences. I am also interested in mathematical and numerical modeling of geophysical or meteorological phenomena.
