This was the first show I designed in a blackbox space with very limited lighting options. In addition to just programming lights, I rigged a couple extra ones to give me more options. I designed all lights for the show and taught the board operator how to use the board.

I was called onto this project pretty late as far as lighting design goes. I went and watched the Designer Run, programmed the lights over the course of 4 rehearsals, and then handed it over to the stage manager. This project was a big step for me as it was my first full-length production I had lighting designed and it was in a very intimate blackbox space.

As lighting designer I came in one day during rehearsal and programmed all the lights for the show. We had one run through with me where I was able to see my lights in action and teach the stage manager how to run the light board.

As a part of our Tech III class we had to create the lighting design for two songs in our yearly showcase. I was given "Shall We Dance?" from the King and I and "Love Look Away" from Flower Drum Song.

For this show I was asked to lighting design for my school's yearly spring dance concert. This was the first time I had lighting designed a dance concert and I was able to use a different skillset and tactics to light these beautiful dancers. I designed this show over the course of two days and ran the light board for both shows.

This play was produced by the 9th grade class at the time. I was brought on to the project a week before the performance and programmed all the lights in 2 days. I also ran the light board and called cues for set transitions and sound.
