Spring 2025 Student Work
OKC Zoo Symbols Poster
This process included research, traditional sketches for each animal shape, and development of a colorful poster to attract audiences to the zoo! Scaling each animal to have a focal point and also determining that with the bright colors helps bring this project together for example brand/advertising purposes.
Hilltop Montessori Schools Branding
This project was to make a new branding identity for the school. The three pieces of the logo represent the student, parent, and teachers working together for better education. The color palette is inspired by playfulness, while also being diverse to show the different kinds of students that go through the school system, and the green helps represent nature, one of Montessori schools' values and and integral part of their learning process. In the end, I made logos, wordmarks, business card, envelope, and application mockups.
World Literature Today, Neustadt Lit Fest Poster
Cherie Dimaline's work was the main focus of the WLT Poster Contest, and I used elements of her native Métis tribe, such as the sash and objects with their patterns. Incorporating her work as an author with a color palette referencing her culture was my way of conveying the importance of this event and Cherie for being this year's winner.
For the contest, I placed third and received a $100 scholarship from World Literature Today.
Dallas Symphony Orchestra Compositions
This project was to arrange the different type sizes in a successful composition of information. Prioritizing different headings in the arrangement was important for each variation. Hierarchy of information is crucial for the effectiveness of this project.
