Since October 15, 2021, I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science at the University of Kent, Canterbury, UK.

During the corona year of summer 2020 - summer 2021, I co-organized the RepNet Virtual Seminar, an online seminar in representation theory. Video archive available via the seminar website.

In view of the climate crisis, I've been avoiding air travel for short visits (seminar talks, conferences...) for the last few years. (Occasionally I slip up when the temptation is too great, see, Spetses...). Fortunately Europe is well-connected by train. It may take me extra time to arrive at my destination, and I may need some accommodation on your part if you invite me and your department or administration is still assuming air travel as the default mode of transportation.
