Emily Evens PhD, MPH, has over 17 years of international experience in the design and implementation of health research. She is a Scientist in the Health Services Research division of FHI 360. Dr. Evens has expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies including operations research, implementation science, monitoring and evaluation, and applying research results to improve health programs in low and middle-income countries. She also has experience working with national and regional governments and local stakeholders and providing technical, monitoring and evaluation and administrative assistance to health programs. Dr. Evens is a Scientist I in the Health Services Research division of Global Health, Population and Nutrition at FHI 360. Her research interests include: HIV prevention innovations, supporting new innovations in service delivery, quality of health care services and maternal health. Dr. Evens has a PhD and master’s degree in Maternal and Child Health; she has worked in sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and Asia.
