Evidence-based information resources related to the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP), housing, and food access in British Columbia. These materials were designed for distribution to immigrants, refugees, and service providers in the Fraser Valley region.
This project was conducted by DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society and the South Fraser Refugee Readiness Team in collaboration with the NEST Research Consultancy. Funding for this project was provided by the British Columbia Ministry of Municipal Affairs.Many people are doing online research, perhaps even more so during the COVID-19 pandemic. Emily Nielsen, who grew up in Dorchester, spends many hours looking for scientific sources. She's a PhD candidate at the department of psychology and the Brain and Mind Institute at Western University in London. She has some tips to get the best results.
