My duties at the branch include receiving and giving money, making deposits, cashing checks, and balancing the drawer. I also provide customer service to all customers, including students, faculty, and staff. Only two students were selected to be interns.
The Lakelander, Kirtland, Ohio — Managing and Layout Editor

This is a student-run magazine at Lakeland Community College. This position was compensated and allowed me to oversee staff ranging from 4 to 7 students and their work. In my capacity as editor, I oversee what goes into the Lakelander, the layout process, and make grammatical changes as necessary.
At Pizza Hut, I primarily made pizzas, but also performed other tasks as designated by my manager. In addition, I gained the skills to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. I also learned to take direction and develop efficient ways to handle the workload.
Throughout my senior year of high school, I interned at Cleverock.com, where I attended concerts, took photographs, and wrote concert reviews.
