I am a research fellow based at the University of Southampton. I hold a PhD from The University of Sheffield (2020), my thesis "Essays in the Macroeconomics of Migration" studied the effects of migration using DSGE and macroeconometric models. I have extensive experience in teaching mathematics, macroeconomics, macroeconometrics, microeconomics, and computer programs. I achieved Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) in 2017. I am experienced user of Matlab, dynare, stata, TeX, R, Python and Microsoft Office software. My research focuses on the results from immigration and emigration in DSGE, VAR, and CGE models, with recent research including early warning systems for migration.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, cycling, swimming, and running as well as watching football, cricket, and motorsport. My volunteering highlights include the Antiques Roadshow (2015), and London 2012 Olympic Games as a first aider.
