Emillia

Emilia is an open-world adventure game that takes place in a neo-medieval, fantastical world where the dire consequences of a corrupted feudalist society have taken over. Players take on the role of a prince who sets out on a journey to see his land before he gets crowned. This quest goes throughout the world of Kinslic where players get to experience many medieval elements that intend to bring emphasis to our issue. Players get to immerse themselves in a world that is based on the extremities of the three estates model that existed in medieval times where the wealthy live on prosperous mountains while the poor live in the valley between.

Emilia aims to bring more awareness and change to the issue of increasing wealth inequality in our communities. The top 1% of the wealthiest people in the U.S. have 40% of the nation's wealth. Our hope is that as you, the player, immerse yourself more into the game, you see the effects that wealth inequality can have on a group of people.
