Emilie will have a booth at the event alongside other artists showcasing plant-themed art. Food trucks and vendors will also be at the event, and all items in the main store will be 60% off in honor of their 60th Anniversary!

"The Bloomington Commission on the Status of Women was established in 1973 by a committee of local women leaders interested in closing the gender pay gap in Bloomington. These women wanted a commission to be chartered to investigate what barriers stood in the way of attaining gender pay equity at a local level and what opportunities existed to advance towards this goal."

Next in the Wonderlab's Science of Art Series is Learn to Crochet. I will be there to demonstrate techniques, and there will be stations for making beginning crochet patterns, learning about the connection between science and crochet, and exploring how math is used in crochet pattern design. I have made handouts with resources as well so visitors can continue their intro to crochet journey even after the event! Your museum ticket includes entry to this program. 

Pictures with Santa will be free! Come out and enjoy craft vendors, food trucks, 50/50 drawing, and silent auction. All proceeds will be going back to the Lincoln Elementary PTO to benefit students and teachers.
