Emilie Maddern is an artist based in Bloomington, Indiana. She works primarily with fiber, clay, and glass. She began learning fiber arts from her grandmother at age two, clay sculpting from art classes in primary school, and glass fusing in 2022 at the Bloomington Creative Glass Center. She also enjoys painting, making candles, and exploring new artistic mediums.
Emilie is a member of the Bloomington Spinners & Weavers Guild, the Weavers Guild of Greater Cincinnati, and the Indiana Glass Guild.
Emilie's studio, Brightgarden, is located in Bloomington, Indiana. When creating new pieces for the studio, Emilie focuses on enduring heirlooms, sustainable products, and functional art.
