Marie POULAIN-ZARCOS, Post-Doc in 2020-23 co-adviced with E. Helfer (CINaM) and L. Bergougnoux (IUSTI) on the structural organization of red blood cell suspensions under flows in health and sickle cell disease. She was funded by the CENTURI Institute. She is now an Assistant Professor (MCF) at the laboratory LMFA, Lyon.
Irem DEMIRKAN, Post-Doc in 2021 co-adviced with Charles Rafaelli (hospital practitioner at the Nice CHUCHU Nice) on high frequency quantitative ultrasound techniques for assessment of skin cancer in patients. She was funded by the Innovation program of the Université Côte d'Azur. She is now an Assistant Professor at Bahcesehir University (BAU), Istanbul.
Lenin CHINCHILLA defended his PhD in 2020 on quantitative ultrasound techniques to characterize soft tissue anisotropy using piezoelectric and CMUT probes. His PhD was co-supervised with Alessandro SAVOIA (cotutelle with University of Roma III) and funded by a Colciencas grant from Columbia. He is now doing his Post-Doc with J.-L. Genisson at the BioMaps lab.
Olivier LOMBARD, Post-Doc in 2017-2018 on the influence of the shear-induced anisotropic microstructure of particulate suspensions on the ultrasonic backscattering. He was funded by the Labex MEC ANR-10-LABX-0092. He is now Assistant-Professor (MCF) at the University of Avignon.
Julien ROUYER, Post-Doc in 2017-2018 on the ultrasound characterization of aggregating blood. He was funded by the ANR CUMBA. He is now R&D engineer at Canon Medical System.
Kazuki TAMURA doing his PhD with Tadashi YAMAGUCHI, comes from Chiba University (Japan) to develop computational acoustic models for predicting ultrasonic scattering from complex tissue microstructures (PhD defensis in 2019). He is now Research Associate at the Hamamatsu University School Of Medicine.
Romain de MONCHY defended his PhD in 2016 on theoretical developments and experiments for characterizing aggregating blood by ultrasound. He was funded by a ministerial scholarship. He is now high school physics teacher.
Pauline MULEKI-SEYA, Post-Doc in 2015-2016 on the ultrasonic monitoring of cell death process. She was funded by the A*MIDEX Interdisplinary project NOVUSBIO. She is now CNRS Researcher at CREATIS.
Anca CRISTEA doing her PhD with Olivier BASSET, comes from University of Lyon to perform ultrasonic scattering experiments on tissue-mimicking phantoms for US characterization using speckle statistics (PhD defensis in 2015). She is now Assistant-Professor at the Norwegian Polar Institute in Tromso.
Nicolas COLLIER, Post-Doc in 2015-2016 on the quantitative assessment of media concentration using spectral quantitative ultrasound. He was funded by the ANR BBMUT.
Franck TOURNIAIRE, Research Engineer 2013 to understand the ultrasound scattering from cell pellet biophantoms. He is now project manager on an Aix-Marseille University platform at Protisvalor.
