NC State Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteers (EMG) have been at the forefront of this internationally acclaimed program horticultural education since 1979. Volunteers are trained by North Carolina State University faculty and staff to provide research-based information about gardening, horticulture and environmental stewardship to individuals and communities across the state.
