Paolo Carbone

Full Professor

Paolo Carbone (Fellow, IEEE) received the master’s and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Padova, Padua, Italy, in 1990 and 1994, respectively.,From 1994 to 1997, he was a Researcher with the Università Roma Tre, Rome, Italy. From 1997 to 2002, he was a Researcher and then as an Associate Professor with the University of Perugia, Perugia, Italy. Since 2002, he has been a Full Professor with the University of Perugia, where he teaches courses in instrumentation and measurement and in statistical signal processing. He has been involved in various research projects, sponsored by private and public funds. He has authored/coauthored more than 200 papers, appeared in international journals and conference proceedings.,Dr. Carbone was the President of the IEEE Systems Council from 2016 to 2017. Since 2018, he has been the Editor-in-Chief of the Measurement journal.(Based on document published on 16 November 2022).
