The Mærsk Tower is an iconic 75-metre landmark at the University of Copenhagen’s Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, designed by C.F. Møller Architects. Opened in 2017, its striking copper and glass façade with 3,300 adjustable shutters creates a unique relief-like expression while optimizing energy performance. The tower combines state-of-the-art research laboratories, teaching facilities, auditoriums and social spaces with an inviting, sustainable campus park that opens up to the city, fostering collaboration between researchers, students and the wider community.
A continuous sculptural spiral staircase connects the 15 floors of the towers at the heart of the building
