Organizers

Isha Dandavate is a User Experience Researcher at YouTube. She currently leads research focused on mobile devices and the video sharing behaviors of teens. In the past, she led research for the YouTube living room team. Prior to joining YouTube, she was a design researcher at SonicRim, a global design research consultancy based in San Francisco, where she conducted exploratory design research and co-design workshops. Isha holds a master’s degree in information management and systems from the UC Berkeley School of Information, and an undergraduate degree from New York University.


Kerwell Liao has done research for YouTube on mobile and tablet, and currently leads multi-device and voice user experience research for YouTube. Prior to YouTube, he collaborated on a framework to explain device and account sharing, and investigated solutions for identity and account management across Google. Kerwell has an undergraduate degree in Information Science from Cornell University.


Lettie Malan is the User Experience lead for YouTube Kids. Previous projects include YouTube Music Key. Prior to joining YouTube, Lettie was an Interaction Designer at the Institute for the Study of Knowledge Management in Education (ISKME). Lettie has a Masters in Information Science from the University of Michigan and an undergraduate degree in Industrial Design.
