In collaboration with Wilson Elementary School, Random Lake Elementary School and Fond du Lac School District we began our inaugural season!
SHEBOYGAN SUN - MAY 2025
“Wilson Elementary School held another 'Super Specials' Day a few weeks ago, as they welcomed special guest and Emerging Teaching Artist, Abi Charbonneau to their music, art and PE classes.
“All of our students were immediately engaged with Abi's energy and positive personality, and loved her workshops throughout the day,” Wilson Elementary School officials said.
The Emerging Artist Project serves to ignite the creative spark within Sheboygan County students and beyond, through immersive and transformative theater education.
Incorporating workshops with dramaturgy techniques and basic acting training, this in-school program is designed to give students a snapshot of theater education while developing community building through drama techniques and collaborative play.
She reminded them that theater is more than just a performance, it is a way to explore new perspectives, build empathy and develop critical life skills. Her programs are rooted in the belief that everyone has a story to tell and a voice worth hearing. Students experienced activities incorporating improv scenes, character development, active listening, movement, yoga and team building challenges.”
Designed as one-off programs for school districts who are interested in exploring our programming, these sessions are typically reserved for a single school day and can include large group and small group formats! Designed for K-2 and 3-8th grade and 9-12 grade packages.
Including audition camps, K-1st grade story drama, improv camps, playwriting and full-scale productions, we are adaptable to meet the needs of your school district!
