I’m from the Chicago suburbs, and I'm a psychology major. During my gap year after I graduated from high school, I worked as a full-time paraprofessional in an elementary school as well as a home-based treat maker. 

A few occupations that interest me include child psychologist, family therapist, nutrition therapist, occupational therapist, and speech-language pathologist. In my free time, I like to travel, go to the beach, and go to the gym.

I am currently pursuing my bachelor's in Psychology. I ultimately want to pursue a Ph.D. in Psychology and enter the realm of mental health counseling. 

I enjoy spending time with friends, going to the gym, and working with computer hardware in my free time.

I am a South Florida native, and I major in communication and speech disorders. I have a strong interest in rehabilitative work, cochlear implants, and swallowing disorders. The dream is to one day work in a hospital where I can make a difference in the quality of life of others. I have always been fascinated by psychology in general, and reproductive health is a niche interest of mine that I have not had the opportunity to explore through my major. 

Outside of the communication sciences or psychology, I love to read and write, and I'm also a huge fan of Disney movies! The idea of a perfect weekend for me is going to get a mani pedi, and heading to Barnes & Noble.

I am from Puerto Rico. I major in Psychology with a minor in Experiential Leadership. My career goals are to pursue a masters in developmental psychology and later on complete a PhD. I am especially interested in the cultural connection between family and couples dynamics and sexuality. 

In my free time I like to relax and watch some movies, go to the beach, and hang out with my partner and friends. 

I'm from here, Davie Florida! I major in neuroscience and psychology and minor in pre-health and honors transdisciplinary studies. I love learning about behavior and the brain, so I am studying to someday go to medical school to practice psychiatry and neurology. I hope to use this opportunity in the lab to learn more about the topic of sexual health to hopefully teach others without access to sex education.

Outside of academics, I love doing crafts like crocheting and cross stitching, going shopping, and being with friends and family.

I am from right outside of Baltimore, Maryland. I major in psychology with a minor in pre-health. I have a strong passion for psychology, especially developmental and child/adolescent psychology. After earning my bachelor’s degree, I hope to go to medical school to become a psychiatrist. I really appreciate this lab and research opportunity, and I think Dr. Shigeto’s research about sexuality is really important and intertwines with my future career goals as a psychiatrist.

Outside of academics, I love hanging out with friends and family, going to the beach, and listening to music. I also am a huge animal person, and I enjoy taking shelter dogs out and about in my free time.

I am a psychology student from Brazil. I moved to the U.S.  in 2022, and since then I developed an interest in psychology from an intersectional standpoint. In the near future, I hope to pursue a Multicultural Psychology PsyD program at NSU.  I also hope to work in the field of mental health either as a therapist with my private practice or as the director of a non- profit mental health program.

Outside of school, I enjoy listening to music from the 70s and 80s, reading tarot cards, and riding my bike. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends!
