Lawrence M. Scheier is a developmental psychologist with interests in program development, evaluation, and behavioral science technology transfer. He is president of LARS Research Institute, Inc., a not-for-profit strategic planning and evaluation company and Senior Research Scientist at Prevention Strategies, Greensboro, NC. His research emphasizes the causes and consequences of drug use and evaluation of programs that promote wellness and positive youth adaptation. For the past 20 years he has examined the efficacy of several school- and community-based drug and violence prevention programs.
He resides in Arizona where he pursues an active lifestyle. He enjoys biking, hiking, gardening, and cooking among many other hobbies.

Dr. Anders is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Applied Human Sciences, College of Health and Human Sciences at Kansas State University. Her research program focuses on sexual and relationship development in adolescence and emerging adulthood. Specifically, much of her work focuses on emerging adult sexual identity development, the use of violence in sexual and romantic relationships, and understanding how cultural or social norms affect identity development during adolescence. She uses this research to better inform and strengthen sexual and relationship education in high schools and colleges, along with promoting public scholarship in non-academic communities.

Dr. Puhlman is an Assistant Professor in the Human Development and Family Studies program at the University of Maine, part of the School of Educational Leadership, Higher Education and Human Development. His research focuses on family processes and parenting. Specifically, he looks at co-parenting relationships and how mothers and fathers influence one another in the raising of children. His work also centers around theory development and qualitative exploration of these family processes.
Dr. Puhlman is originally from Pittsburgh, PA and is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. When not working in the lab, he loves playing hockey, hiking, camping, home remodeling, skiing, and most anything else outdoors.
