Festival Tracks

e/merge 2018 consists of four key tracks of activity:

1) Research Colloquium track - If you want to present your freshest, most relevant work or engage with the latest research on e-learning. This track will focus on new research about blended and online learning predominantly in African Higher Education. The programme will consist of keynotes, invited presentations and panels and peer reviewed presentations and panels. We are inviting proposals of up to 500 words.

2) Innovative Practice track - If you are an innovative practitioner. Using old tools in novel ways in your context also counts as innovation. This track will focus on innovative practices in the integration of educational technologies in higher education. The programme will consist of keynotes, invited presentations and panels and peer reviewed presentations and panels. We are inviting proposals of up to 500 words.

3) Workshop track - If you value experiential and reflective learning. This track will feature a selection of online workshops focused on the application of new and emerging technologies to learning and teaching. The programme will include invited workshops and workshops selected after peer review of proposals. We are inviting proposals of up to 500 words.

4) Unconference track - If you like experimentation and are open to a bit of disruption. Two weeks before e/merge 2018 unconference participants will start meeting to organise an exciting set of presentations, experiential activities and discussions. The unconference track will be supported by the e/merge 2018 conference team but there will be no formal peer review process. We are inviting expressions of interest of up to 250 words.

e/merge 2018 will also offer opportunities for organisations and companies who provide e-learning services and products to exhibit and demo their products in the e/merge 2018 Marketplace.
