Qi is our life force energy. When Qi, or energy, is stagnant and not circulating, we feel pain and discomfort in our physical body. Stagnant energy in our emotional body feels like stress, anxiety, nervous tension and depression. Stress in the mind feels like worry, obsessive thinking, and repeating thoughts. When Qi is circulating and flowing, we feel energized in our body, happy in our hearts, and clear in our minds.
So what is Qi Gong? Qi is our life force energy and Gong is work or skill. Qi Gong is skillfully working with our energy. Qi Gong is a principled, integrated practice of energy, relaxation, resilience, enjoyment, and centering.
