In this piece, I really wanted my dancers to feel as if they were in a dream. I was curious how they could feel like they were in a lucid dream and execute movements between fast and slow. My cast members are each so talented and incredible and have truly brought their artistry to a whole different level in this choreography.

I created this solo choreography for Inner City Arts web series titled: Rated Z for Everyone. Each webisode focuses on a topic of special interest specifically for Generation Z — amplifying their voices to be heard by each other, and also by adults. It’s a beacon of creativity. I focused my piece on anxiety and how my choreography correlated feeling suffocated with my anxiety and coming to terms with it.
