Venue

Here you will find practical information on how to access the building, find the rooms and be comfortable during your stay.

The main building: Uni Mail

Uni Mail is one of the buildings of the University of Geneva.

Located in Geneva's city centre next to the famous plaine de Plainpalais and the river Arve, it hosts several faculties, one of them being the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting (FTI).

There are two entrances: The main entrance on the side of the tram station and the park side entrance on the other side of the building. They both lead to the same hall.

 How to find the rooms

On the first day, there will be arrows guiding your way from the main entrance to the room of the Opening Session. We will then help you find the right rooms.

However, here's a quick guide to our room numbering system:

o R = ground floor (rez-de-chaussée)

o S = level -1 (sous-terrain)

o  1–6 = number of the floor)

o 0 = left from the main entrance in the back

o 1= left from the main entrance

o 2 = right from the main entrance in the back

o 3 = right from the main entrance
