The annual meeting of the Psychonomic Society in the year 2020 had to be moved to a virtual format due to the breakout of the Sars-Cov-2 pandemic. In this talk, the PI for the EmCat Project, Dr Halszka Bak, discusses the results of Experiment #2 (concreteness, imageability, and context availability data) for the English Language.

The Society for Affective Science met 100% in vitrual mode for the first time in 2021 to keep all members and guests safe amidst the Sars-Cov-2 pandemic. The conference rested on flash talk sessions organized in GatherTown, which lent itself greatly to focused and involved discussions of all the research conducted and planned.

The Psychonomic Society met 100% in vitrual mode for the second time in 2021 to keep all members and guests safe amidst the Sars-Cov-2 pandemic. This talk was accepted for presentation in the form of a poster presentation and accompanying flash video talk.

In this annual meeting of the Society for Affective Science we discussed the large and small differences in the sizes and compositions of the average individual emotion lexicons in Polish and English native speakers.

In the first post-pandemic meeting of ISRE we all met under the scorching desert sun of Los Angeles to talk all things emotion, including a healthy dose of linguistic factors. In this presentation we attempt to summarize and contextualize the results obtained so far in our project.
