These are the gods within Embris that were created by the Major gods to fulfil more niche jobs and take command over more minor domains of the world, some being overseen by the Major gods directly while others are free to go about their duties unchecked.
One of the eternal cycles, the day, the night, the sun, the moon. Ever-moving and forever intertwined. Both of these celestial bodies are but representations of the beings Solis and Luna. Solos and Luna are two minor, sibling gods under Airdruuma and Sonea-Paix who grow and change together throughout eternity. During the beginning of the year both take the form of children, running across the surface of the sky as they laugh and play, always trying to catch one another. In the summer season the two reach young adulthood, moving together as the celestial bodies do as they converse and find joy in each others company as they feel the days go by. In the Fall they reach their full adult forms, watching over the world with wisdom as it progresses through the season of their matron. Finally at the end of the year as the cold season comes the two reach an elderly version of their forms, with the two moving slower as they trail after their heavenly bodies. At the end of the year the two are reborn, rising once more as children to begin playing together again.
The sun half of the celestial twins, Solis is a being of passion and quick to act. In the early season while he is childlike he often likes to play active games with Luna, chasing her about, running around and hiding, etc. As he grows however he often gets a bit more strong in his ideals, knowing his version of right and wrong is true. Where his sister gains wisdom he gains the ability to generate stories from what he has witnessed during the heat of battle underneath the sun. When he hits his elderly form he is known to give out advice to others in terms of how to complete tasks like farming, how to properly wage war, and many other things he has seen throughout the ages. His symbol is that of a red circle surrounded by an orange one, or artwork of a sun emitting rays. Followers of Solis often find warmth and power when moving underneath the sun's rays.
Luna is the moon half of the celestial twins, where her brother is more ferocious and passionate she is more quiet and peaceful. In the early season while her form is more childlike she is often curious, using the moon as a way to peer down onto the world and show people those things hidden in the night. As she grows she becomes more at peace with the world and more serene towards those who are able to view her. As she grows towards her elderly stages she becomes a bit more open and friendly, known to dispense some wisdom as the long nights go by. Her symbol is the crescent moon. Some of her followers act as guardians in the night, protecting civilization against beings that seek to destroy it in the dark.
While the Supreme Gods and their children cared for the affairs of mortals and the planes, the Scribe alone handled the affairs of the souls. Eventually, the Scribe desired assistance in the curation of the Library, Marethyu was the first of these gods to be etched into existence. The Scribe tasked Marethyu with the task of ferrying souls to his realm so that they may experience death and all that comes after. Marethyu is the god of the crossroads, they stand at twilight and oversee the boundary between life and death. They are the psychopomp that leads the newly dead and guides lost souls toward the realm of death– the library where the stories of all souls are transcribed.
Marethyu's presence is felt in the liminal spaces, the boundary at which difficult choices are made and finality is dealt. Mareythu is an impartial presence, he does not direct those who stand at the crossroads one way or another, he merely demands a choice be made. It is said that in times of peril when a mortal stands at the precipice of change and a great choice must be made, Marethyu’s presence is felt. Marethyu takes the shape of an ethereal hooded figure, one arm outstretched with a glowing lantern that shines a silvery light through the darkness. The lantern is said to carry an untampered spark of Eternus’s own flame, emanating a warmth that all who were crafted from the very same sparks can feel. Hooked inside the other arm, Marethyu carries an ornate golden scale, so that one may weigh their choices more carefully. Marethyu's symbol is a latern set at the center of a golden scale.
The second of its brethren crafted to curate the Scribe’s library, Jechiles was tasked with ensuring the sanctity of its contents, to be an arbiter of death. Jechiles is the god of judgment, the protector of the library, and the keeper of the crypt. To those who cannot make the final choice, those whose lost souls linger beyond their time, and those who refuse to touch of death itself– Jechiles places the gift, or curse, of undeath. Undeath is the state of all those who do not enter the Library, to be bound in decay and rot, and it is in the dead of night that Jechiles stands to watch over them.
Although Jechiles is an unbias god, he is often seen by mortals as a cruel and menacing figure. Jechiles takes the shape of a towering figure, hunched over with a great lupine skull for a head. In each of his arms, Jechilles carries an obsidian sickle, said to render flesh with the icy touch of death and directly hook upon the souls of its victims. Those who carry out the most egregious of deeds that are sacrilegious to the Scribe himself are said to face the full judgment of Jechilles. Jechilles symbol is a lupine skull set between two crossed obsidian sickles.
Ceridious is the final god crafted by Scribe’s own hand to assist in the curation of the Library, tasked with the binding of souls to new books. Ceridious is the goddess of reincarnation and stories untold, she is the last thing one sees before entering their mother’s womb. There is a moment when a soul wandering the Library feels it is time to move onwards, they leave behind their past lives to be born anew once more. This is perhaps the most delicate process, to carefully bind the blank pages of a new book using silvery threads that glisten like starlight, each and every book is unique in make and any mistake is reflected upon the very soul of the individual.
Ceridious is said to be a maiden dressed in all white, beautiful except for the fact that she has no face. She stands on the horizon as the new day is born, looking onward towards futures unseen. Ceridious carries with her a skein of silvery thread, said to be made of fibers spindled from the sparks of Eternus themselves. Beyond binding books, Ceridious uses these threads to weave impossible tapestries upon her loom that shimmer with different images of possible futures. Ceredious symbol is a skien of silver thread and a needle.
Vasdes is a minor god under the domain of Paphyr, having been created to fulfill the needs of those who make deals with more…ignoble desires. Deals in which one sought to gain much more than necessary. Vasdes often is known to relish in reviewing and creating deals in this nature, being depicted in the symbol of a pile of coins with toothy smiles on them.
Followers of Vasdes are often found in Madinat, where unfair fiendish deals are highly prominent. They are also found among those who deal in coin and other items of value.
