We recommend a little makeup when dancing under stage lighting. The intensity of lighting washes out the facial features. The makeup, when seen up close may appear over done, but it will look quite natural to the audience.
Step One: Start with a clean face
Step Two: Foundation/Powder.
Step Three: The eyes
-Eyeshadow
-Nude brown color palette. Any eyeshadow brand is acceptable. But please stick to neutral tones.Â
- Dancers can use any, eyeliner if you wish.
-Black Mascara
Step Four: Blush
- Rose color applied to the apple of cheek upward.
Step Five: The Lips
-Apply a red or a slight tint to ensure dancers do not get washed out under stage lighting.
Hair and makeup is not required for the in-house dress rehearsal. Hair and makeup IS REQUIRED FOR THE DRESS REHEARSALS AT CUYAHOGA FALLS AUDITORIUM.
We want all of our dancers to look uniform and polished.
