I accompany people on their journey towards a whole , integrated self . Whether you are just getting out of a difficult relationship , grieving the loss of a person you loved very much , or in doubt about what to do next as you transition into middle age - I can offer support to get you the clarity you need. You have spent your whole life listening to the din of the outside world , the opinions of others and the expectations that society has placed on you. It is now time for you to step into your own. To honor the still small voice within and to live with authenticity , to do what brings you joy and to choose freedom. The freedom from relationships that do not fullfill , the freedom from playing social roles that suffocate and the freedom to be You. I do this using the EMBARK Method, a process that was birthed after decades of exploration and research. Empathy, Mindfulness, Body ( Embodiment), Awareness ( Needs of Self & Other), Relationships ( Systems of Relational and Group Dynamics) and Knowledge ( Integrated Understanding and Inner Wisdom). This method can help you to break through inner barriers that keep you stuck by unleashing your inner wisdom that leads to lasting change and radical self-trust. It will help you into becoming a whole and resilient individual.

I offer weekly practice groups , customised workshops and 1 on 1 and group coaching in NVC. NonViolent Communication is a modality developed by Marshall Rosenberg , and since he started teaching the NVC community has grown into a large international community of practitioners. It allows people to get in touch with their inner world of feelings and learn to see them as a compass towards their needs. Needs are the life force energy that lives inside all of us. It is a way of being that helps us to live from the heart , to learn to give and recieve from the heart and be more compassionate , overcoming blame and shame to get in touch with the pain within. It teaches us about responsibility towards ourselves and that our needs can be met through creative ways rather than the paucity thinking that make us think that there is only one or two ways to meet needs. It has proven to be remarkable in helping people get in touch with themselves and choose compassionate ways to meet their needs and bridging differences and creating systemic change in the world.
I offer lectures on Matriarchal studies and consulting on building compassionate cultures and community building . Modern Matriarchal Studies were the life long labour of love of Dr. Heide Goettner-Abendroth. She travelled the world and studied Matiarchal studies around the world to find that they were remarkable socieites based on egality and compassion. They honored the earth and saw everthing as sacred. They had rituals and spirituality that honored both men and women. Their ways of communal living valued generosity and leaders were urged to help people solve their differences via dialogue and compassion rather than violence. In my research on leadership in Matriarchal Societies, I found that leaders in matriarchal societies were picked based on their ability to show empathy and compassion and care for their community. Even men were exhorted to lead like a good mother would. What is even more striking is the reverence for the natural world and the respect which is offered to mother nature and sentient beings . Their literature, origin stories and ways of being all showed a connection to self and divine with compassion at the center.
I offer workshops and practice groups on Work that Reconnects for climate activists and social change activists and anyone grappling with the chaos in the world and wanting to make a change. Work that Reconnects is an experiential Workshop format that was developed by Joanna Macy . It uses a lot of deep ecology , systems thinking and buddhist philosophy of the Bodhisattva warrior and interdependence to teach us to see the truth that we always knew that truth of interdependance and how when we honour all the difficult feelings we feel , through grieving , it can free us up to think more deeply about the challenges facing us and to take action. The spiral starts actually with gratitude , in the consumerist business as usual society , we really need to cultivate contentment and the benefit of gratitude is that it contributes to our resilience. Once we have gratitude we move to honoring our pain which frees us the path to move to seeing with new eyes - the new eyes with which we see our obstacles shows us new ways of solving problems we were grapping with earlier and finally in going forth we take steps to make our dreams into reality and face the overwhelming challenges .
I have co-developed a resilence training program called Resilience Mapping with Sonja Vonderstrass from Germany. This is based on NonViolent Communication , Encouragement Training , Matriarchal Leadership Studies and Systems Thinking. We help people develop systems of resilience and help you overcome the judgements of yourself and help you to claim vulnerability as a strenght and learnt to take responsibility for your feelings and needs. The resilience Map is a set of indicators and factors that we found in our research and study that contribute to resilience which we define as the ability to bounce back from setbacks rather than as a personality judgement . It is more than just a skill for us- but a concerted strategy to build sytems of support - both internal and external. We are all interdependent and understanding the importance of building safe communities is rarely mentioned when speaking about resilience.
We currently offer a year long immersion program into learning the Resilience Map , 1 on 1 coaching on Resilience and customised workshops on Resilience.
I offer 1 on 1 coaching and mediation for conflicts based on gift economy. I am training to be a conflict coach and mediator. Conflict is a part of life. Most of us were never taught directly how to deal with conflict and when we do end up in conflicts they can become very painful and difficult for us to experience. While it can be very scary and unsettling to experience conflicts, conflicts can also be a great source of learning - self awareness and awareness about how relationships function. Conflicts can also provide clarity and improve relationships if they are handled in a way that honors everyone's needs. Once we learn how to be in conflicts the fear of conflicts also goes away.
I offer 1 on 1 accompaniment in Focusing a method of Embodiment based on Eugene Gendlin's work. I am a trainee at the International Focusing Institute. Focusing is an embodiment method that allows one to become aware of the wisdom of the body by developing an attitude of welcoming every thing that may come up. By staying with , even painful and difficult feelings and making an attempt to articulate them in the presence of a an empathic other, that is there to understand and deeply , the body's wisdom opens up so many avenues and insights that are not available with our normal ways of thinking. It helps people to develop trust in themselves, develop high levels of self- awareness and understand others too.
