Sedgwick Reserve Array 2018-2019:
Installation, data collection and servicing of seismic stations at Sedgwick Reserve in the Santa Ynez Valley in California. The seismic network was installed to detect local earthquakes and highlight local subsurface structures. This work was done with Zach Eilon's Lab at UC Santa Barbara.
Los Angeles Basin: Seismic Node Deployment 2022
Deployment of an array of ~250 nodal seismic instruments array in the Los Angeles Basin. This deployment was a collaborative effort between UC Riverside, Caltech, University of Utah. The array recorded data from June through July 2022 with a ~95% retrevial rate . The data from the the deployment was used to detect local seismicity and develop high resolution, shallow tomographic models for the region.
Campaign GPS in Southern California: 2024
Deployment and retrieval of GPS stations in Southern California with the Funning Lab at UC Riverside . The campaign focused on GPS sites along the Southern San Andreas and San Jacinto faults in the Inland Empire region of Southern California. These measurements were taken for a variety of studies including to establish benchmark measurements in case of future earthquakes, to potentially highlight any aseismic movement of the faults and to even to measure the effects of weather systems.
