Welcome to my website. I am Evan Marschall, a Ph.D. candidate at UC Riverside working under Roby Douilly in the Observational and Computational Seismology Group. My research focuses on rupture dynamics, fault mechanics, complex fault systems, seismic hazard and tsunami modeling.
Before attending UC Riverside, I attended UC Santa Barbara where I began my undergraduate studies as a physics major but ultimately switched over to the world of earthquakes. I worked in Zach Eilon's lab where I did undergraduate research and graduated with my B.S. in Earth Science with a geophysics emphasis in 2020.
