I am a Senior Economist at the Poverty and Equity Global Practice of the World Bank in Washington D.C., where I currently work analyzing the distributional incidence of development policies in Western and Central Africa. I am interested in the intersection between competition policies and economic development. Previously, I worked as an Economist at the Peruvian Antitrust Agency - Indecopi (2009-2010), as Senior Analyst at Macroconsult (2006-2009), as a Consultant at the Peruvian Regulator of Telecommunications - OSIPTEL (2006) and as a Research Assistant at Universidad del Pacifico's Research Center - CIUP (2005-2006). I also have teaching experience both in Perú and U.S. (Universidad del Pacífico, University of Illinois). I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a M.A. and B.A. in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico in Lima-Peru.
