Knowing that players are always on the go TGS has developed a mobile app that allows players full access to their profile from anywhere. Make updates to your profile, favorite a new college, send a game schedule to college coaches. This can all be done in the palm of your hand.

TGS College Coach Check-In simplifies logging colleges and staff that attended the games while sharing the data instantly within the player account. Players can now see exactly which colleges and more specifically which coaches were at each game.

With our custom algorithm, TGS matches potential colleges with players helping them with their recruiting process. The TGS system will look at your preferred preferences such as location, size, division, and additional items to help match you with the right colleges.

When searching for colleges players have the ability to select their favorite schools and schools of interest. They can give the college a private rating of 1-5 stars. This will help the player to sort through potential schools of their liking. Also, when a college is favorited they are notified that the player is potentially interested.

From the start of freshman year to the end of senior year the TGS Player Profile account provides players with a comprehensive checklist keeping them organized and on track with their recruiting needs.

These Player Community Guidelines (hereinafter the "Guidelines") are necessary to ensure a safe and fair environment for all players in the game. The administration reserves the right to change these Guidelines without providing prior notice to members of the community.

If a player violates any of the listed Guidelines or our Terms of Service, our support agents may apply sanctions and/or take a range of measures as described in our Terms of Service and Code of Conduct, including the permanent suspension of the player's game account, even if the violation took place in the past.

As long as you are only using these totals for informational reasons and it's okay if players don't have the most current total immediately, then you would be fine to update title data a few times a day.

However PlayFab does not have any built-in tools for totaling statistics, so you would need to look into creating a custom server or finding a 3rd party service that can add the statistics together and then update title data.

Total bases refer to the number of bases gained by a batter through his hits. A batter records one total base for a single, two total bases for a double, three total bases for a triple and four total bases for a home run.

Total bases are used to determine a player's slugging percentage -- which is total bases divided by at-bats. A player can only add to his total-bases tally through a hit. Advancing on the basepaths -- even via a steal -- has no impact on a player's total bases.

Total player rating (TPR), also known as Batter-Fielder/Pitcher Wins (BFW/PW) is a metric for measuring the value of baseball players, and to enable players to be compared against each other even when they played for different teams, at different positions, and in different eras. It was developed by sabermetrician Pete Palmer and was popularized in the Total Baseball series of encyclopedias during the 1980s.[1]

Total player rating is computed using linear weights, in which each event in a baseball game (for instance, a base on balls, a double or a stolen base) is assigned a value in runs. Each player then has a rating in Batting Runs, Pitching Runs, and Fielding Runs, usually adjusted for park and position, and the sum of these values is divided by 10 and is expressed as an offset in games from an "average" baseball player. Thus, a star player in a season might have been worth 6 games more than an average player, while a scrub might be 5 games below average. The justification for representing a game as 10 runs was determined empirically and varied by era, but 10 was the rule of thumb for back-of-the-envelope computations, e.g. for fans comparing players using runs created.[citation needed]

TPR helped disseminate the notion that players should not be given credit for events over which they have no control.[citation needed] As an example which embraces giving such credit, the runs batted in (RBI) statistic awards a hitter with runs which scored when he collected a hit or a walk, even though the player has no control over whether the players who batted before him got on base, which is a significant influence on whether he is able to drive them in. Thus, players with high RBI totals for a season may have such not because they're among the best hitters themselves, but because they hit behind players who are among the best at getting on base.[citation needed]

In the 1990s, some criticisms of TPR prompted other sabermetricians to develop new methods of measuring player value, such as equivalent average and value over replacement player. Bill James presented some of these criticisms in his book Win Shares, foremost among them being the observation that an average player has a TPR value of 0, whereas in fact an average player has substantial positive value.

An accurate assessment of total energy expenditure (TEE) during a competitive season is required. We aimed to validate TEE estimated by self-reported energy intake (EI) and the dietary reference intake (DRI) method in 19 elite basketball players (aged 16-18 years) using doubly labeled water (DLW) as the reference method. The DRI models and EI from dietary records over a 7-day period were simultaneously assessed for TEE estimation. Resting energy expenditure was assessed by indirect calorimetry. Fat and fat-free mass (FFM) were determined by a 4-compartment model (body volume by air displacement plethysmography, bone mineral by DXA, and water by deuterium dilution). Fat and FFM ranged from 4 to 19 kg and from 47 to 81 kg, respectively. The physical activity level ranged from 2.2 to 3.7 with a mean value of 2.8  0.4. Total energy expenditure from DLW (17,598  3,298 kJd) was significantly underestimated by EI (11,274  2,567 kJd), whereas no differences were found using DRI (17,008  3,206 kJd). The EI and DRI methods explained TEE from DLW by 34% (p = 0.057) and 44% (p = 0.002), respectively, and wide limits of agreement were observed. Our findings suggested that EI is not a valid tool for TEE assessment. The DRI method may be valid at a group level but inaccurate for estimating individual TEE in young players during a demanding competitive season period.

Later it will be the same as PC with eight players and cross-platform play will be supported so you would be able to connect to PC hosted servers. There will not likely be a dedicated server client for the console.

When Shohei Ohtani led Team Japan to victory at the World Baseball Classic last week, striking out his Los Angeles Angels teammate Mike Trout to end the championship game, he delivered yet another incredible achievement to his ever-expanding baseball resume. As he enters his sixth big league season, Ohtani has collected a slew of awards, including the 2021 American League MVP. That kind of success has translated financially for the 28-year-old Ohtani, who is now the highest-paid player in baseball.

Gerrit Cole became the owner of the largest contract by total value ever for a pitcher when he signed his nine-year, $324 million deal in 2019. He has the chance to hit free agency again in the not-too-distant future if he chooses; Cole can reportedly opt out after the 2024 season.
