I have been a life-long illustrator, from doodling at my desk throughout grade-school to dedicated college courses and my Bachelor's degree in Scientific Illustration; a Fine Art discipline that combines fine art skills and detailed scientific knowledge.
In my illustration work, I most often am depicting something from the "real world" while making it even more aesthetically pleasing and easy to visually identify.Â
These are samples of my detailed, "realistic" illustration work. Most of the pieces in this gallery were created digitally by hand, and never with the use of AI.
These are samples of my more stylized or "cartoon" illustration work, which I often combine with graphic design elements.

For this project, I wanted to illustrate a juxtaposition between the seriousness of the Ebola endemic (the featureless person in full PPE), and the inherent philanthropy of caring for other humans (represented by a pink, saturated card with a heart symbol).
A poster I illustrated and designed for Doctors Without Borders' sale fundraiser, Posters Against Ebola, sold out online within a few weeks. It was also on display at AIGA Philadelphia's SPACE gallery in 2015.
