Fun Run
New this year was the 1 Mile Fun Run open to all ages.
After James H. Boyd Intermediate School Principal, Dr. Denise Toscano, announced the start of the race, the Elwood Knight and Elwood Middle School Football team led the pack of runners in their first lap around the track. The goal was to run 4 laps around the track to make a mile and many participants acheived that goal! Superintendant of schools, Dr. Ken Bossert, and Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, Maureen Hull, cheered on the Knight, football team and over 60 fun-runners!
