Shared Decision Making Committee

"School-based planning is the planning, goal setting, decision-making and program delivery along with accountability that occurs at the school site, allowing for a grassroots approach to education. This is a process for making and communicating decisions. The partners in education affected by these decisions are represented on a team and agree to work together to provide information to solve the issues of the school working to greater success for all students." (NYS PTA Resource Guide, p. 4)

The Committee is made up of administrators, teachers, students and parent representatives.
