• Routes to diversification in Africa: Linkages, Pulling Dynamics and Opportunities Medium-High Tech Supply Chains (with Prof Antonio Andreoni). Consultancy work to draft the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD – Geneva) Background Paper of the 2023 Economic Development in Africa Report (EDAR 2023) “Shaping the future of supply chains in Africa: Optimizing opportunities and strategic value”. Status: Completed.

• COVID-19 and catastrophic effects of health expenditure shocks and welfare loss in Ghana: New empirical evidence (with Martin Ayanore and Davina Osei). AERC Collaborative project on 'Addressing health financing gaps and vulnerabilities in Africa due to the COVID-19 pandemic'. Grant number RC22519. Status: Ongoing.

• Services Sector Acceleration: Understanding the Drivers and Development Implications (with Gideon Ndubuisi, Solomon Owusu, and Rexford Asiamah). UNU-WIDER and the Groningen Growth and Development Centre (GGDC) of the University of Groningen (UoG) project on sector database called ‘The Economic Transformation Database (ETD)’.  Status: Completed.

• Global value chain (GVC) participation and Innovation: Firm-level evidence from Africa (with Emmanual Mensah, Daniel Sakyi, and Gideon Ndubuisi). • Exporters and global value chain participation: An empirical assessment of South African firms (with Caio Mazzi and Gideon Ndubuisi). Research programme entitled ‘Southern Africa – Toward Inclusive Economic Development’ (SA-TIED), with funding from UNU WIDER, the National Treasury of the Republic of South Africa (NT) and the South African Revenue Service (SARS).
