The University of Oregon Environmental Leadership Program facilitates collaborative learning initiatives between student teams and non-profit organizations, government agencies, and businesses, to tackle environmental challenges identified by the community. With the primary objective of nurturing relationships between students and community partners, this program offers:
Undergraduate students distinctive and hands-on learning opportunities that enhance their professional, leadership, technical, problem-solving, collaborative, and communicative competencies.
Graduate students exposure to project management, mentorship, and team-building skills.
Organizations access to services that advance their missions.
Our program includes environmental education projects wherein students design, execute, and share transformative learning experiences for children immersed in nature.
