This is all a hypothetical personal project, some things here may not align with your values and that's okay. anything that is not fact will be largely based on my own opinions. Frankly, I do not care if you agree or disagree and either way it doesn't matter because the chances of this actually happening are extremely slim.

This is just a silly project I came up with because the current state of the world is making me depressed (this is not a unique experience on my part), and I figured that doing this might make me feel better. Plus I don't like the idea of billionaires existing in the first place #eattherich lol
I often think about what my three wishes would be if I were in a genie situation and brought me to make a plan so that I could do as much good in one wish as possible think about it like this: "I wish for the plan I came up with on this website to come true" and then BOOM! A thousand problems are solved! Then I wish for the more selfish things for myself like having an infinite stash of chocolate, the ability to always find $20 in random jacket pockets at the thrift store, or forever having the perfect wardrobe for any mood and occasion. Talk about making the most of things lol, plus everyone wins (except Elon Musk I guess).
I acknowledge that Elon Musk has donated money over the years but his total donations comes out to only 1 billion dollars, which is 0.0029% of his total wealth. This is not a lot. to put it into perspective, if you took that same percentage to the median net worth of the average american household ($192,900), you would get a total donation amount of $563.27. This is 2-3 grocery trips if you're shopping for one. If you think that the amount Elon Musk has donated is fair compared to what he still owns, then hopefully you can learn how much more he could do while maintaining his billionaire status.

First thing I would do is divide his money into different categories, most of them ending up in donations in one way or another.
I thought about how I would split everything for a while but I think i'll settle with everything being done evenly. As an example: if there are 3 categories, then his net worth would be divided by 3 to have even amounts of money in each category. I am aware that some things aren't worth as much money so those things will be subtracted first, there will also be sub-categories in this system.

I also want to do as much research as possible with everything that I write and add, there will also be sources throughout the site of where I get my info from.
I did not use AI to make any part of this project.
There will be some bias in this list, I am only one person working on this after all and it's a personal project, this is why I am starting off by basing my list on the 17 goals of sustainable development by the United Nations as I believe it was a well rounded starting point.
This does not generate me any money (idk how it would I am literally a college student in art so I gain nothing from this).
The only person who should be upset that I am even doing this is Elon Musk himself, if while reading through this you are somehow upset, maybe it's time to reconsider your own values and what you care about. With the current state of the world, these changes in where Musk's money is would help you, and if you disagree, I beg you to reconsider with at least the environment or health category in mind.

So far there are 9 categories. This would mean that I will take $342 billion and divide it by 9, which ends up being $38 billion.
This basically means that every category has a $38 billion budget, from there the amount will keep dividing into different amounts. one of my goals is to not have too much money in any one place, so lots of division.

I understand that to most people, giving $38 billion to the art category seems crazy when that same amount is being given to a category like poverty, food, and peace. Keep in mind that this is literally fictional and not your money, plus with this massive amount of money, it doesn't even matter that that amount is being donated because $38 billion is still $38 billion and the impact it would have on any category ever will be more than enough to solve a lot of problems.
