There is so much art in our world that is NEEDED and that saves lives and communities without us even knowing, so while this category might be a little selfish for me to have as an art student, I know how badly it's needed in our world. If I am going to pretend to solve problems about the environment and world hunger and health, I think it is also important to address the artistic side of things. After all, what's the point of solving all of these problems if we just end up living in a really boring world?
I would also like to remind you that this IS very much fictional and hypothetical, I would love for Elon to spend ALL of his money like this but alas, humans are too greedy for that. Though I will say that if every other category WAS paid in the amount that I proposed, I would be the least disappointed if this was the category that was skipped.
With all that being said, here are some foundations that could use some extra support and also some more reasons why all of this is so important.
sub-categories (draft):

preserving and funding indigenous art
music

This foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to bring the healing power of art to hospitals and other healthcare institutions in Canada
It is so incredibly important to have a place where patients in hospitals can feel safe and comfortable and one of the best and more effecient ways to do that is through art. This takes a collaboration of different types of artists, like interior designers, painters, mural artists, sculptors, architects, etc...
First Nations works to build healthy economies in Indian Country based on strategies that emphasize Native communities’ control of their assets, including cultural assets, institutional assets, natural resource assets, and political assets.
A collective of artistic Indigenous minds for over a decade to preserve and revitalize endangered Indigenous art forms and enrich lives through Indigenous arts and culture.
Indigenous People as a whole are looked over far too much in so many contexts, especialy historical contexts. Indigenous artists are also often overlooked, but these foundations help them thrive better as artists with communities and funds that make their work and art possible. This has so many different impacts and positive sides, including the preservation of tradition, spreading awareness about the history of native people, and just supporting people who need the support overall.
Musicians Foundation provides financial grants to professional musicians that help pay essential bills, like medical and dental treatments, rents and mortgages, and utilities.
