FAMILIES: How to Make Your Playbill Ad

DEADLINE for ad submission and payment

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

Step #1: DESIGN your ad in one of the available sizes. We strongly recommend the use of Canva for the best quality outcome of your ad! Here is a Link on: How To Use Canva

1/4 Page Ad (2.75” wide x 4.25” tall)- $25

1/2 Page Ad (5.5” wide x 4.25” tall)- $50

Full Page Ad (5.5”wide x 8.5” tall)- $100

Step #2: DOWNLOAD your design as a PNG or JPG file (Photos will appear in color)

Step #3: PAY for the ad: PAYMENT HERE

Step #4: EMAIL the final ad in a PNG or JPG file to bchsblackboxtheatre@gmail.com

STUDENTS: How To Write Your Playbill Bio:

A playbill bio is an opportunity to tell the audience about YOU!

Your bio should be:

- 35-75 words in length

- Written in third person (Ex. "Taylor is so excited to perform...", "He hopes you enjoy the show!")

You may:

- Mention a FEW recent or favorite roles/performances.

- Share something about YOU, like your interests and hobbies.

- Give a shoutout or say thank you!

Bio Example:

Taylor Swift, a junior at Brookfield Central, is so excited to be playing Mrs. White in Clue! You may have seen her in previous BCHS productions such as Thoroughly Modern Millie (Millie Dillmount), Matilda (Hortensia), Mary Poppins (Mrs. Banks) and You Can’t Take It With You (Penny Sycamore). She would like to thank her amazing family for their support!
